Six Years of Quarterly Record Revenue for Proofpoint

Today, Proofpoint issued a press release recapping growth for the second quarter of 2009. Q2 2009 was Proofpoint's 24th consecutive quarter of record revenue -- yep, six years of quarter-on-quarter revenue growth. As in other recent quarters, Proofpoint's SaaS solutions such as Proofpoint ENTERPRISE and Proofpoint ARCHIVE represented the fastest growing parts of our business.

An increasing number of customers switching to Proofpoint from competing solutions including Google (Postini) and Cisco (IronPort) and another quarter of solid international performance (notably, Proofpoint Latin America had a record-breaking quarter) also contributed to this great quarter.

Thanks to all of our customers -- new and old -- for making Proofpoint your email security, archiving and compliance solution-of-choice. Your satisfaction and success continues to be our number one priority here at Proofpoint.
