New Version: Proofpoint ARCHIVE Gets Powerful New eDiscovery Features; DoubleBlind Encryption Gets a Patent

We're excited to announce today the latest version of our Proofpoint ARCHIVE SaaS email archiving solution. The new version introduces features for faster and easier eDiscovery and improved management of legal holds including new policy engine and workflow enhancements, improved support for historical email, enhanced end user search capabilities and support for Instant Message (IM) archiving. (You can read the full announcement here.)

Watch the video for a quick primer on the new enhancements, courtesy of email archiving expert Andres Kohn.

If you want to learn more about email archiving in general and the new features of Proofpoint ARCHIVE, there's still time to register for our live webinar this Wednesday, June 10th. Register for "Avoid Archiving Nightmares: Wake up to SaaS Email Archiving" by visiting the following URL:

One more thing we're really excited about: The unique encryption techniques used in Proofpoint ARCHIVE, which we call DoubleBlind Encryption, were granted patent ##7,512,814 - “Secure and Searchable Storage System and Method” - by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. DoubleBlind encryption ensures that all data transmitted to, and stored in, Proofpoint's datacenters is encrypted by a unique key held only by the customer. At the same time, all archived email remains fully searchable - and search results are returned in seconds. Congratulations to the Proofpoint ARCHIVE team on this achievement!
