Are You E-Discovery Ready?

Our own Rick Dales, who serves as Proofpoint's VP of product management for our email archiving product line, authored a great article for the November issue of Inside Supply Management, which can now be read online.

Rick's article gives an extremely clear and concise overview of the complex legal issues that make data retention -- especially the regular retention/archiving of email messages -- not just a "best practice" but a "must do" for enterprises of every size and in every industry.

If you're new to the concept of e-discovery and puzzled by things like the "Federal Rules of Civil Procedure" -- or if you need to explain these concepts to other people in your organization, you'll find Rick's article extremely useful.
